Mobile for Joomla websites (part 1)

The mobile web has been a big topic of conversation for people in the last year. Everyone wants their Joomla website optimized for iPhone, Android and other mobile devices and operating systems. New smartphones are released every few hours, it seems, and people quickly find the need to build easy to use mobile Web sites. Unfortunately, creating a mobile site using Joomla was difficult at best. We therefore decided to make it easier.

Mobile for Joomla websites (part 2)

This is our second article on creating a mobile friendly Joomla site from two of our news releases, the model browser plug-in and Model MobilePraise. You can read part 1, introduction to why and how you can build up mobile for iPhone, Android, Palm and other mobile browsers friendly Joomla sites here.

In this article I cycle through some tips on how to customize the MobilePraise template Joomla to be even more mobile environmentally friendly that allows the default configuration.

When you finally have your copy MobilePraise template installed on your website (and the model browser plug-in is enabled and configured to display the model on mobile devices), you can do something completely the model structure and make it unique to the end of your website.

Unlike other models of mobile device for different CMS (including Joomla, WordPress and Joomla), we wanted to do this template to customize facilement.Dans coming months, more people will use this template to create a mobile for visitors, and we don't mind's appearance by default, we don't necessarily recommend to everyone to use.Almost as important as having a site mobile Web is to have a single mobile Web site, no one wants their site to exactly the same appearance as everyone.
